Our introduction lesson on alphabets:
We start with the history and how the Swahili alphabets started: LESSON 1: ALPHABET: The Swahili language doesn’t have its own alphabet. It was originally written using the Arabic alphabet. For the sounds missing in the Arabic alphabet like CH and G, Farsi characters were used. Later, in history, the colonial rulers in East Africa and Christian missionaries started to write Swahili words using the English alphabet.
The cost is $30.00/hr./ per student, and we give group discounts as well. Our mentoring class is designed to give learners a very easy way to learn, speak, read, and even write words correctly. We expose the learners to words that are used in practical situations such as in mission trips, safari trips, in ministry, at home, at the marketplace, school, and online.
